History
In 1977 Avis Car Leasing pioneered the provision of operating leases for vehicles in New Zealand. Truck Leasing Ltd was established in 1988 and was New Zealand’s first major truck leasing company. In September 1998 The ANZ Bank formed Esanda FleetPartners by consolidating the two companies under one brand. The aim of this joint venture was to provide fleet leasing products to the corporate business market. In 2006 the company was purchased by a private equity group led by a former Managing Director, Nick Johnson and other key executives.
Thirty years on and although the name has changed, the innovation and market leadership has not.
